252. The Power of the Pivot & Trusting Your Gut Instincts with Vanessa of Taylor Made Polish

Vanessa has tried all the things. First, she focused on D2C through her website, which proved to be pretty difficult when the customer struggled to understand what her product was. She had a private label division, then she ventured into wholesale, and now she’s circling back to building up the eCommerce side of her business.

Along the way, she’s learned a ton of lessons, some of them hard, some of them expensive, but it has all brought her to the place she is today, which is with a successful business that runs like a well-oiled machine, gives her time to focus on her family, and still has so much room to grow. I loved catching up with her to hear how her business and outlook have changed over the last three years and the power that comes when you start trusting yourself and your instincts.
